The Markets and your 401(k) Plan
Guest: Jeff Judd
Jeff and I had a conversation in early February 2016 about steps employers should take to evaluate their retirement plans during times of market volatility. Highlights include:
-
Review of the market volatility in 2015 and thus far in early 2016.
-
Market trends to be aware of in 2016
-
Tips for evaluating perform vs. risk in your 401(k) plan investments.
-
What to expect with your bond mutual funds during a time of rising interest rates
-
Market volatility can either highlight strengths or expose weakness in your mutual fund managers.
-
Important questions to help you evaluate the risk profile of both your core plan investments and target date strategy.
